Functional Improvement in Vertebrobasilar ischemic Stroke During Individualised Homoeopathic Treatment: A Case Report.

Multifocal posterior circulation infarction involving the vertebrobasilar system often produces complex neurological deficits with guarded prognosis 12. A 60-year-old male presented with imbalance of gait, slurring of speech, excessive salivation, dysphagia, and visual blurring following an acute is...

ab: Multifocal posterior circulation infarction involving the vertebrobasilar system often produces complex neurological deficits with guarded prognosis 12. A 60-year-old male presented with imbalance of gait, slurring of speech, excessive salivation, dysphagia, and visual blurring following an acute ischemic stroke. Neuroimaging revealed multifocal infarcts involving the pons, cerebellar hemispheres, occipital lobes, temporal lobes, and left thalamus 23. Individualised homoeopathic treatment based on characteristic symptoms was initiated and instant progress was observed in gait stability, visual disturbance, speech clarity, increased salivation and bowel function. This case highlights the therapeutic utility of homoeopathy in functional recovery following posterior circulation infarction.
