Sumario:The article presents a series of poster summaries from the 2026 CHLA/ABSC conference, highlighting innovations and research in health sciences librarianship. Key topics include the creation of an internal archive at Canada’s Drug Agency to centralize organizational reports; development of a validated search filter for sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs) to improve literature retrieval; and comparisons of AI-assisted citation analysis tools versus traditional platforms like Web of Science. Other projects address modernizing EndNote support, leveraging APIs for bibliometric analysis of Open Access publishing, raising awareness of paper mills through open educational resources, and promoting responsible use of generative AI in clinical research and education. Additionally, student-led advocacy for medical education resources and expanded roles for medical librarians in distributed undergraduate programs illustrate evolving partnerships and professional responsibilities within health sciences libraries.
