ab: The article examines the correlations between mental age scores on the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test and the subtest of the Developmental Test of Visual Perception (DTVP). This statistical relation raised queries concerning the connection between intellectual function, mental age and DTVP achievements. The DTVP evaluates the level of visual perceptual maturity in children regardless of chronological age. Despite the correlation, the level of accomplishment should not be used as a criterion for attainment in both tests.
