We will attempt to understand the type of communication wine initiates, the way we come to reveal ourselves to another, and the levels (empirical, rational, or intuitive) that underpin the authenticity of such communication. We will examine the extent to which wine's "transformative power" allows not only for sincerity, but also for a certain epistemological culpability, akin to the effects of other substances, and consider whether the truth revealed is one intended for the self or for the other. Finally, this critical inquiry will also address distinctions related to generational differences or cultural particularities. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: Romanian refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: Y custom: Copyright of Studii de Ştiintă şi Cultură is the property of Studii de Stiinta si Cultura and its content may not be copied or emailed to multiple sites without the copyright holder's express written permission.
