Sumario:The article discusses the use of digital technology in the production of jazz music. The quality of sound is essential for jazz listeners, who listen to jazz music through innovative digital media such as MP3 players. There is an emergence of the mobile phone music technology, which comes in three phases including sideloading, streaming music and downloading. A trend on the consumer technology field is directed towards the merging of the mobile phone with the personal digital assistant (PDA). It won't be long before jazz artists and listeners would make use of a hybrid mobile phone/PDA to listen to high quality digital music.
