Sumario:In this article the author examines Christianity in the United States and concludes that a majority of the Americans who profess to be Christian do not practice what they preach. 85% of Americans claim to be Christian yet only 35% of them attend church services. The author feels that the scriptural teachings of Jesus do not include approval of capital punishment, the war in Iraq, prisoner abuse, and racial and sexual discrimination.
