| Sumario: | The article discusses the continuous change of paddy lands in the Kandy district of Sri Lanka and its agricultural development. The paddy lands near the Kandy district is believed to be the rice plantation field of the Sri Lankan people. Due to continues development, some part of the lands has been shredded with residential houses. According to the Department of Agriculture, rice would continue as their basis of socio-cultural and socio-economic of the nation. |
