Sumario:	The article reports on the result of the study about effects of frequency of photic stimulation upon autistic and retarded children in the U.S. The study found out that the response rate of autistic children were related to the frequency of stimulation. Retarded children revealed no such consistency. Photic stimulation can increase the probability of a response because it increases the general activity level of the subject.
