Sumario:The article focuses on the distinction between virus writers and legitimate hackers. Hackers are divided into law-abiding and lawbreaking programmers. Despite of their distinction, these hackers engage in unauthorized or uncontrolled use of computers. The author suggest that the concept of general intellect is useful in helping people understand the role that hackers play in the society. He discusses his idea on virus writers, general intellect, cyberpunk and criminal capitalists to revealed their real distinctions.
