Sumario:The article discusses the labor legislation that was enacted by the U.S. in 1995 which addressed issues in a significant number of employment standard areas and included many important measures. Some of the areas addressed were agriculture, child labor, state departments of labor, the discharge of employees, drug and alcohol testing, equal employment opportunity and employment agencies. The article summarizes, by category, a number of the legislative activities that resulted in laws enacted or amended by the individual State legislatures during 2005. It provides comprehensive descriptions of each State's legislative activities during the course of the year.
