| Summary: | The article presents labor statistics obtained from the Current Population Survey, a program of personal interviews conducted monthly by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The sample consists of households selected to represent the U.S. population 16 years of age and older. The principal statistical series collected and calculated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics such as series on labor force, employment, unemployment, labor compensation, consumer producer and international prices, productivity, international comparisons, and injury and illness statistics are presented. The data in each group of tables are briefly described and key definitions are given.
