ab: This article reports that Harper Perennial has been searching blogs and specialist magazines to find the books that fans are talking about, and has snapped up three titles by small publishers which it intends to transform to reach a wider readership. The titles include Michael Norton's witty ethical guide "365 Ways To Change the World," originally published by Myriad Books, and Kelly Link's fantasy short stories "Magic for Beginners," originally published by Small Beer Press. The book "365 Ways to Change the World" was receiving rave reviews in the broadsheets, despite being published by a small publisher, when Perennial spotted it.
