A number of isolated statements in professional literature concerning the aforesaid issue, call attention to aspects needing consideration. A study of several periodical literature, and books about science teaching in the elementary schools, reamined inconclusive as it found that a noteworthy finding is the agreement in expressed philosophies. Excluding some words of caution regarding certain practices, little disagreement was encountered. The study further explained a tentative philosophy based upon the opinions that were discovered. Such a philosophy may not be accepted in all its universally aspects. However it is likely to add value to those setting up courses of study. Accordign to the philosophy, the courses of study require enrichment with suggestion for activities therefore the need for activity-suggestions is appropriate. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: English refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: Y dt: @attributes: year: 1943 holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
