Sumario:The article comments on the study about the attitude change of elementary teachers as a result of a televised science inservice program in the U.S. According to the author, there are several inherent problems in the research that seem to have been overlooked by the researchers. In addition, the author says that a theoretical base for the study is lacking. The author also comments that the researchers have failed to consult the work of social psychologists who have extensively studied the effects of matching recipient characteristics with treatment in influencing attitude change.
