| Sumario: | The article reports that the public schools in Providence, Rhode Island have been supporting the developmental reading program to help high school students progress toward maturity in reading. The need for the improvement in reading among junior and senior high school the low results driven students of a standardized testing program administrated over a period of two years to all students entering high school. Students individual reading needs are determined on entrance to the junior high school and the reading program is designed in accordance with the needs indicated. |
