| Sumario: | The article offers information on the relationship of classroom performance and prenatal environment. The German measles epidemic in 1941 has prompted further medical investigations relative to fetal development. While the medical field is concerned with this issue, educators tend to posit that a little connection lies between prenatal period and the problems of school performance. Benjamin Pasamanick and his colleagues performed some investigations which identified link between learning problems in children and complications and problems during pregnancy and delivery. Children attending classes in Baltimore, Maryland were studied as target samples. |
