Sumario:Goals of community colleges are discussed using data collection from eighteen community colleges responding to the Community College Goals Inventory (CCGI). Current emphases are on vocational/technical preparation of students and on general education. Dissatisfaction is expressed over morale and mutual trust on campus and on attention to developmental/remedial education. Several scenarios are suggested for the future.
