Sumario:The article presents information about the Chicago Developmental Reading Program. This is a well defined program to develop the reading capabilities of students. The variation in reading ability becomes greater, as children advance from grade to grade. The program of reading development fascinates the abler student to do their best performance while it enhances the reading ability of the slower-learning students. Oral reading is a method which is generally used to find the constraints and difficulties of a child's sight vocabulary.
