Summary:The article presents the results of a study on the influence of social class culture on children's choices of occupations in the U.S. Results revealed that social class indeed influences children's choice of occupation and it is as important a factor as chronological age. Further research has been suggested to weigh the reasons of children's choices to determine the social status ranking of occupations as perceived by children of different social classes.
