According to Julie Distin, the area operational manager in charge of Newquay Library, the library has been immensely renovated: dark walls have been painted white; grubby grey carpet has been replaced by rubber floor tiles and old furniture has been replaced by new. The entire renovation program was carried out during 12-week Love Libraries campaign. Thanks to the campaign, the library could get free goods and services worth 87,000 pound. The whole project was advised by Tony Coffield of design agency Curious Oranj.
