Sumario:The article presents the study which describes the synthesis, self-assembly and properties of the contorted hexabezocoronenes (HBC) or nanoscale cable into electrical devices. This material organizes into cables or fibers, in which are ordered both on the molecular scale and on supramolecular scale having an orthorhombic unit cell of 5.8 nm x 4.5 nm x 0.45 nm. Transmission electron microscopy, electron diffraction and powder X-ray diffraction were used to elucidate the structure of the fibers.
