| Sumario: | The article presents an analysis of the word philanthropy and its role in promoting liberty, equality, sustainability and democracy in the civil society. In order to elaborate further of the role of philanthropy in the civil society, the author presents the health care service of the Oasis Health Center to the people in Brunswick, Maine. He also presents other services like monetary donation, medical services and other voluntary services which was given voluntary institutions and people. |
