Sumario:	The article focuses on computer router security issues in order to better protect internal corporate and government networks as well as the larger Internet. The authors argue that computer router security has not received enough attention from Information Technology (IT) professionals. Routers could be a weak link in the chain of intra-domain networks. The authors describe network architecture to prevent intra-domain attacks. Their system utilizes the two cryptographic security measures of confidentiality and authentication to protect networks from potentially damaging router attacks.
