Sumario:The article describes the treatment of the Jews in apocalyptic thought in the Franciscan writings of the 13th and 14th century. It examines the context in which Crusade preacher Alonso de Espina's apocalyptic thought emerges in Franciscan Joachism. A discussion of the alleged involvement of the Jews with the Antichrist and their expected conversion to Christianity is provided. It concludes with an evaluation of de Espina's position in the Franciscan apocalyptic tradition.
