| Sumario: | The article reports on the application of the speech recognition technology in computer software and hardware, and in other electronic devices. One of the recognized potentials of speech recognition is in interacting with, and issuing complex commands to personal computers, and cell phones. The inability of past processors to accommodate the complex functions quickly and efficiently, and the hesitancy of the researchers towards the technology, are identified as the big challenges in the effective development of speech-recognition chips. |
