Sumario:This article discusses on computer security systems focusing on the human factor. BS 7799, a core IS security standard that the British Standards Institute developed in 1995 and the International Organization for Standardization adopted as ISO 17799 in 2000, discusses human factor and organizational issues almost exclusively. IS security management will increasingly rely on qualitative and quantitative models that mainly address the human factor. Moreover, future security models will rely on system dynamics and agent technologies.
