Description
Summary:The article discusses the use of robots in computer science. In order to better relate the field of computer science to people's personal lives, the Institute for Personal Robots in Education is developing a personal robot to teach introductory computer science courses. The program is part of an effort to reverse falling interest in computer science, which has been strongly affected by the United States economy. The robot will present a more natural learning environment to build interest in a field that has been stereotyped as impersonal and boring.
