Sumario:The article provides information on the developments of computer industries in the U.S. The nonprofit People's Computer Center company, is committed to demonstrate and propagate the recreational and educational uses of computers. A local public access information network called Community Memory Project was opened last August 2006 in Berkeley under the Resource One Inc. The National Science Foundation has awarded a 2-year grant to establish the project named Digital Systems Education. This project explores the differences in the methodology and philosophy of digital systems education from software oriented type programs to hardware-development programs.
