The more complex designs driven by consumer demands have created challenges for developers. According to a study software causes 77% of electronic failures in cars. Experts say its a challenge to debug SoCs because there's no room to use external tools. Analysts say making the internal interfaces available outside is the only solution to debug the chips. Infineon Technologies developed a system to integrate calibration memory and multiple-core debug support for SoCs. |
