| Sumario: | The article presents the result of an experiment aimed at determining the effects of reduced time trials on the reliability of absolute thresholds for visual acuity. According to the author, the psychophysical method of constant stimuli has been used for a number of psychotechnological problems. Its widespread application is hampered by the extensive time it takes just to obtain data for numerous stimulus presentations as well as the extensive tallying and computations. An experiment was conducted to find out the effects of the reduction in trial time on the results of the constant stimuli test. |
