Sumario:The article discusses universal accessibility as a multimodal design issue for computer programmers. The computer software industry as a whole is attempting to produce universally accessible systems that take into account special needs of various groups, such as impairments of speech, hearing or vision, cognitive limitations, aging, and environmental factors. The authors examine the concepts of Usability, Universal Accessibility, Universal Design, and Inclusive Design as methods of affecting human-computer interaction.
