Sumario:The article examines the effect that free Internet-based educational materials have had on commercial publishers of learning aids. The British Broadcasting Corporation's (BBC) jam has been suspended, which is a relief to software publishers who saw the Internet program as competition and pulled their investments in digital school media. BBC jam was lobbied against by the Publishers' Association's Education Publishers Council (EPC) and the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA).
