| Sumario: | This article examines the potential misuse of photo-altering technology on photojournalism. Due to computer programs like Photoshop, it is remarkably easy to alter photographs with unnerving veracity. Even for established photojournalists the temptation is great to add or subtract from an image. Allan Detrich was an award-winning photographer for the "Toledo Blade," until he was caught altering one of his submissions.
