| Sumario: | This article discusses the philosophy of Nishida Kitaro and his so-called Logic of Field and the significance of Einstein's theory of relativity. Nishida was a philosopher of the Kyoto school and became famous for his works on religious philosophy and ethics. The article discusses Nishida's logic and compares this to Hegel's position on nature and science. It explains Nishida's approach to philosophy and discusses how research findings of contemporary physicists influenced his philosophical theory with reference to the physics of his day. Nishida believed that knowledge included subjectivity and objectivity. |
