| Sumario: | The article presents the author's views on ethical issues in the transcription of personal narratives. One issue concerns with whether one should stop working with others' personal narratives and work only with one's own. He believes that it is not ethical to restrict published personal narrations only to those people interested in the personal narration study. Another issue concerns the transcription of nonverbal messages. He believes that one must realize that any transcription is imperfect. |
