These computer programs are based on thermodynamic and kinetics principles as well as statistics, pattern recognition, mass balance and mixing water models. The last programs were developed in DELPHI language version 3 for WINDOWS. Se describen varios sistemas informáticos (hidrogeoquim, sama, geoquim, batomet, sacan, simucin, modelagua) que han sido diseñados e implementados por el colectivo desde la década de 1980 hasta la fecha y se discuten ejemplos de aplicación en la caracterización y control de la calidad de las aguas subterráneas. los programas de computación se basan en principios de la termodinámica y la cinética química; así como en modelos estadísticos, de reconocimientos de patrones, balance de masa y mezcla de aguas.
