Sumario:The article focuses on evolutionary design, a computer program which employs the process of evolution to aid in the creation of inventions and products. The program employs what is called an evolutionary algorithm to create thousands of mutations of an original design, then selects improved versions for further mutation. Dr. John Koza of Stanford University employed the software to create an improved version of a Wi-Fi antenna patented by Cisco Systems.
