Cultural algorithms are used to model the use of social intelligence to solve problems in optimization, it is a class of computational models taken from the observation of cultural evolution processes in nature. Three major components are: a population space, a belief space, and a protocol that describes the first two's knowledge exchange. The data collected at the Monte Albán site was fitted into a cultural algorithm to work in conjunction with decision trees leading researches to infer patterns of social interactions at the site. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: English refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: Y dt: @attributes: year: 2008 holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
