ab: The internet is the biggest discovery after Telephones, Radio Television, Automobiles and aeroplanes. It is because the time and space barriers have been removed and every major field has been affected. The world has shrunk in to a village. The global citizenship and the duties, understanding, tollarance and co-operation has acquired a new meaning. It has affected the student's life too. The benefits of the Internet are enormous but in the quest of staying ahead of others we should not forget the basic facts linked to human life. If the situation of the world is so alarming with partial penetration of Internet in our life, what will happen when there is 100% penetration of this Technology? In order to address this important point, we must start studying both the plus and minus aspect of this Tool in the hands of Human beings. If we do not wake up to the danger signals received already we may face critical situations like the world coming together but man is getting isolated and going away from each other creating more barriers in the mind. The balanced growth in technology and human understanding both are essential to make this world a better place. The life of students is also affected due to internet. It is essential to study the effective use of it for the students not forgetting the negative impact on this technology and to prepare to combat the adverse effects to optimize the utility of Internet.
