| Sumario: | This article looks at the attempts of several biologists to determine where moral behavior originates. Dr. Sloan Wilson and Dr. Ingrid Storm have found that moral action does not appear to be linked to emotion or rationality, but is found in a separate part of the brain. A test is described requiring a subject to decide which way a runaway railway trolley should go given defined negative consequences. Other aspects of the study performed by various scientists are also discussed. |
