      ab: The article discusses the eQoS framework intended to provide client-perceived end-to-end quality-of-service (QoS) guarantees in webservers. It is stated that the eQoS framework represents a first step in a systematic approach to provisioning user-perceived page-view response time differentiation and assurance. Among the feedback control approaches that can be readily be applied to QoS-aware resource management is proportional-integral derivative (PID) loops. Experiment settings and results on the performance of the eQoS are also preseted.
