| Sumario: | The article offers the author's perspectives about the year 1968 as one of the most troubled years in the history of the modern left politics in the U.S. She said that 1968 was a period when politics and culture intermingled, wherein the personal became political and every act like demonstrating against the Vietnam War, smoking dope, and having sex had meaning beyond itself. In addition, 1968 was the period of the exhilaration of rebellion and sexual revolution, and the sexual freedom for women was defined by the male model. |
