| Sumario: | The article focuses on the increasing frequency of malicious mobile device software viruses (malware) in the early 21st century. The first emergences of concern over mobile device hacking and virus attempts are described, citing their infrequent nature due to the lack of broad popularity of the devices. Developments of virus risk within the industry after the general increase of smart mobile device use are described. Common forms of software attack and software developer strategies to combat them are provided. Warnings are offered suggesting that increase security measures are necessary or the industry will collapse due to user disinterest. |
