Sumario:A chapter of the book "The Secreto de los Secretos: A Castillian Version" is presented. This chapter traces the history and analyzes the content of the medieval treatise "Secretum secretorum." The treatise, which is described as a didactic political works ascribed to Greek Aristotle, was reportedly popular during the whole of the Middle Ages. Due to its popularity, the book has been translated and adapted numerous times in the Western European languages. It contains statecraft and political wisdom composed of letters and statements of communication.
