Sumario:Chapter I of the book "Botticelli's Neoplatonic Images" is presented. It summarizes the life story as well as the training as a painter of Sandro di Vanni Filipepi, known as Botticelli. Botticelli was born in Florence, Italy and works have been divided into three divisions: namely early style, mature style and late style.
