| Sumario: | Chapter VI of the book "Botticelli's Neoplatonic Images" is presented. It presents an interpretation of Sandro Botticelli's works. It assumes the accuracy of the scholarly hypothesis on the matter. The work of Botticelli is considered as a fusion of a cultural movement and moral philosophy as well as synthesis of new Florentine civilization with classical ethos. It is noted that the paintings were not dependent on one another, rather each work emerged as an independent under the influence of the Quattrocento Florentine culture. |
