| Sumario: | A chapter from the book "Enrico Annibale Butti: The Predicament of the Minor Writer" is presented. Of all Bhutti's works "Il castello del sogno" is said to be the best example of his use of literary reference and of his re-writing of other authors as a gesture of revision and literary criticism. It is considered among his most complex work, and the one that contains the description of the literary and philosophical movements at the turn of the century. "Il Castelo" is a play written in verse, divided not into acts and scenes, but rather into four canti. |
