Sumario:Chapter 5 of the book "Classical Myth & The "Polifemo" of Góngora" is presented. It explores the slowing of time during the meeting of Acis and Galatea where they embraced each other and behaved in a different manner with their dance-like movements at this part of the poem. This interlude between the two characters creates the setting for the tension that is to come in the poem. Characteristics of the interlude like the presence of contrasting elements in the love of Polifemo to Galatea and his murder of Acis are mentioned.
