Sumario:An essay on "1492: Vida y tiempos de Juan Cabezón," by Mexican novelist Homero Aridjis, is presented. It is said that the novel, which focuses on the Spanish Inquisition, can be compared to the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. and the film "Schindler's List." The author added that the novel traces the attacks on the Jewish people in Spain, which began in 1391, as well as the establishment of the Inquisition in 1492 by King Ferdinand II and Queen Isabella I.
