Sumario:Chapter 10 of Part III of the book "They Built Utopia: The Jesuit Missions in Paraguay 1610-1768" is presented. It accounts the expulsion of the Jesuits from Madrid, Spain on March 31, 1767 after the execution of the Expulsion Decree of 1767. Accordingly, the Pope has been informed by King Carlos III of Spain on the expulsion through a brief letter giving as the reasons his concern for public tranquility, the honor of his crown and the peace of his subjects.
